Project Description
The goal of the WIICam project is to create an interactive robot that can take commands and stream video across existing network infrastructure. The robot should be able to connect to existing wireless access points using 802.11g protocol and stream video from a camera mounted on its arm to a laptop computer. The laptop computer should be able to connect to the robot an issue commands over the network to allow remote control. Finally the controller chosen is a standard Nintendo Wiimote which should allow users to quickly learn how to maneuver the robot.
